I founded Malla Entertainment in 1987 in Los Angeles, California. As a former recording artist turned talent manager, producer, and executive, I created the company to develop artists, produce meaningful projects, and build lasting opportunities in the entertainment industry.
Since its inception, the company has forged strategic partnerships and investments throughout the entertainment ecosystem. Our team stays current with industry developments, both nationally and internationally, enabling us to provide our clients with informed, strategic guidance while maintaining strong, long-standing relationships with colleagues and partners.
Malla Entertainment Group is is a boutique entertainment company with offices in Palm Springs, CA and Nashville, TN, specializing in talent management, music, film production, catalog sales, contract negotiations, and consulting — with a focus on creative content and artist development.

Jey Malla
Founder and President
Seasoned entertainment industry executive, musician, producer, and talent manager. Jay served as chairman and CEO of Filmmates Entertainment Inc., a privately-held film and television distribution company based in Los Angeles, and as President of Lightforce Films, LLC. A co-founder of the Producers Guild of America New Media Council, he has a solid track record of developing music acts and securing major label record deals throughout his career.
Sher Bach
Partner/Manager
Presently based in Nashville, TN, Sher rejoined MEG in 2024. A veteran music industry professional, she oversees the company's eclectic music roster, bringing years of valuable industry experience. A protégé of entertainment attorney Craig Benson, she got her start early working for iconic artist managers who represented some of rock's biggest legends, forging lasting relationships within the creative world along the way.
